What is it all about?

With extensive interests in seaborne trade and a coastline stretching thousands of kilometers, Australia will always be a key region in global maritime operations. It is also clear that international terrorism will continue to pose a threat to those operations for the foreseeable future. Consequently, port and maritime security is a crucial consideration for all maritime stakeholders.

The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development & Local Government and Lloyd’s List DCN are once again proud to host the 5th Annual Port & Maritime Security Summit. This is the only event in the region combining the expertise of government policy makers and the leading global maritime publication, Lloyds List DCN, whilst also providing significant international perspective unseen at any other security conference in Australia.
