International Maritime Bureau The International Maritime Organization (IMO) in it’s resolution A 504 (XII) (5) and (9) adopted on 20 November 1981, has inter alia, urged governments, all interests and organizations to cooperate and exchange information with each other and the IMB with a view to maintaining and developing a co-ordinated action in combating maritime fraud. The IMB has a MOU with the World Customs Organization (WCO) and has an observer status with Interpol (ICPO). IMB’s main task is to protect the integrity of international trade by seeking out fraud and malpractice. For over 20 years, it has used industry knowledge, experience and access to a large number of well-placed contacts around the world to do this: identifying and investigating frauds, spotting new criminal methods and trends, and highlighting other threats to trade. Asian Security Review "Asian Security Review provides a vital, informal link between the experience of the public and private sectors across jurisdictions," said James Smith, Managing Editor of Alphabet Media. "Effective homeland security depends on collaboration between government, security agencies and key stakeholders in the private sector - which is why Asian Security Review is uniquely end-user driven. We're not a suppliers directory; every issue of Asian Security Review features senior level government interviews. No other magazine receives the same level of support." As the only 'all-hazards' homeland security title in the region, Asian Security Review is the ideal marketing platform for solutions providers seeking to build influence and win business with our audience. "Leveraging the deepest network of government contacts of any trade publisher in the region, we are able to gain access to senior policymakers and share their experience with their peers around the region. As a result of this we are able to deliver an informed, engaged audience of prospective buyers to our advertisers and sponsors," he continued. For more information go to www.asiansecurity.org
